The tutorial is good content-wise but the problem lies in the way the lectures are given...It seems like the tutor simply read out the tutorial content...

I have some academic experience with Hadoop and HBase, so I was looking to expand my knowledge with practical application. The lessons in this course provide that, but they could be better.

Some areas for improvement:
Lesson 4.3 has 2 minutes of nothing at the start. At first, I thought my browser crashed.
Lesson 5.1 appears to have incomplete slides-- particularly for the API discussion.
Lesson 5.2 Hfile, Memstore, and WAL are discussed at the end of this lecture….Seems out of place.
Lesson 5.3-- I cannot understand what is being said around the 2:00 minute mark.

Overall when the slides are complete, they are helpful. There is a lot of good information in this course, but the presentation and delivery need work.
