تمثل هذه الدورة دورة أساسية تركز على التحليل باستخدام طريقة العناصر المحددة وتطبيقاتها. تقدم الدورة الأسس النظرية الأساسية لأي مستخدم لبرامج الحل بطريقة العناصر المحددة، وتناقش تطور طريقة العناصر المحددة والتعريفات الأساسية وأنواع العناصر وأنواع التحليل والتحقق من صحة نموذج المحاكاة وتحضيرات ما قبل المحاكاة والتعامل مع نتائج التحليل، مع الاستعانة ببعض التطبيقات الحسابية والتقنية. فضلاً عن ذلك، الدورة تشتمل على 10 تمارين للتحليل الاستاتيكي باستخدام برنامج الأنسيس لربط الأسس النظرية بالتطبيق على البرنامج. وأخيرًا، هناك 7 تدريبات أخرى مرفقة مع المحاضرات لإتاحة الفرصة للطلاب لتطبيق ما يتعلموه بأنفسهم، وايضا السلايدز مرفقة مع المحاضرات لتسهيل المتابعة.

This is a basic course that focuses on finite element analysis and its applications. The course provides an essential theoretical background for any FE solver user. The evolution of FEM, basic definitions, types of elements, analysis types, model fidelity, pre-processing and post-processing are all discussed with the aid of some mathematical and technical applications. Besides, the course includes 8 static analysis tutorials on Ansys software to link the theoretical background to the software application. Finally, there are 7 assignments annexed to the lectures, to allow students the opportunity to apply what they learn on their own, also the slides are attached to lecture for the student's convenience.

Really, course is valuable. Just need more real applications, such as pressure vessels and rotating equipment.
It is prefer to provide exercises for multistage centrifugal pumps/compressors. Same units should be included in the dynamic course.
by completing both courses, it is suspected to have the capability of performing static and dynamic analysis for various static and rotating equipment.
