Great course! Phil presents students with several different techniques and ideas to create video bumpers in After Effects. I have taken several courses in Premiere Pro and After Effects from Phil and these short and specific courses are both a great way to get started on a specific project and a perfect opportunity to brush up on your skills!
This course is 8 years old and uses the very first version of After Effects CC. The style of motion graphics is outdated and even amateurishly colorful. The instructor doesn't follow a script and makes a few mishaps here and there. I've taken other courses from Phil Ebiner that pertain to After Effects and he constantly uses the same concepts when it comes to shapes animations. I liked the introductory videos that tell you about the importance of branding and how to approach the creation of one's video bumper. Also, the videos are shot in 720p.

(very few explanations on technical details, commands typed on the keyboard too quickly, impossibile to understand if you have not a good knowledge about AE)
