great intro course. i was hoping to learn more about how to package and manipulate files for professional printing (for example cut contour lines for printing vinyl). I work at a fabrication office that does large format, professional printing and there are a few specific skills that I am missing. Also, the difference between an .ai and a .eps, especially when it comes to printing (large format). For what it taught, this course was excellent. A few more challenging homework assignments -- like vinny the bull dog -- would have been helpful as well.

I just came into this course from a "masterclass" on InDesign which was a huge learning curve. This one makes it seem like Illustrator is easy and much simpler. I hope it's not glazing over a lot of important details, but in a sense it's more effective, because knowing every single shortcut and way to customize the panels in detail is overwhelming to just understand the basics of how to successfully make something from A to B. I don't like the chapter opening videos, which really don't suit the atmosphere of the course overall. Kind of dark and scary for some reason.

This is exactly what I've been looking for. The other class I purchased was way beyond a Beginner's Level (even though it said it was for Beginners), but this one is perfect! It truly starts from the very beginning! Thank you for that! :)
