I liked the course because it was a very beginner course(good for people starting in data warehouse for the first time). But it lacks real-world examples and hands-on labs. Those would have helped a lot more.

MSDN Labs are different now. Information is a bit obsolete. Course name is very misleading. If you are looking for ETL/SSIS sample of loading DW you came to the wrong place. Not clear what Big Data has to do with DW, not really related things. Very light scratch and just definitions of some things.

I cannot access the MSDN Virtual Lab even though I have a Microsoft Account and I have followed the steps discussed in the sessions.

Instructor talks so slowly at 2x speed appears normal paced.

Whole sections of video repeated -- especially around logging into tools. Seems like the total time could be cut to about a fifth if it were limited to content at a normal pace.

This highlights how little content there is.

In my opinion, the course provides very basic information from DWH area. I think it is useful only for beginners who want to know what DWH is and from which parts it consists. It is pity that they don't focus on practical side of DWH and some parts of DWH aren't described more deeply, for example SSIS and SSDT package.
