The course will be demonstrated within 3ds Max, and the textures will primarily be created using V-Ray materials. Other types of shaders will also be demonstrated, but the class generally teaches you principles that can be applied across several different platforms. You will learn settings, shader types, map creation, etc., all while seeing real time demonstrations of materials being created and rendered.

And remember, I work hard to support all these students effectively by answering questions and helping them solve their problems. Here is a comment from a satisfied student:

"I must begin saying that over time Adam has gotten better at creating courses and explaining everything in a simplest manner possible.

    1. Overall video and audio quality was great.

    2. The amount of information was just enough and the quality of it all was amazing. I learned more than i expected to.

Bought it almost as soon as i could knowing that it will for sure be worth it. I'm already planning on recommending it to some people that would love this course and i already can't wait for a course on lighting.

    Great job on the course!"

It's a good course to get the idea of what you can do. However, maybe more really good looking materials at the end of the process would be great... Maybe some update :)

Wasn't expecting that the instance of the course would be since 2015 (was so exited to purchase that didn't even check). I am still very optimistic that this will help me move forward with the V-Ray Materials thought. :)

This was my 3rd course with Adam Zollinger. Very good introduction on materials, very helpful and well explained. Loved to see more exercises in the future, if this course will be updated I will definitely practice more.

using a very old 3d max and vray version, can't understand the process of making the material because the slot is not visible at all and the instructor doesn't check it every time when he add new thing, so i can say that it can't be a learning course at all, i really disappointed of it. I am asking the instructor to update this course and make it more better .

That is a fantastic job and thank you very much for sharing these informations. On section 4 where we talk about the different setting of making a material... i would prefer to see the material changes on interactive render than to material preview to understand better the effect of each one.
