About This Course

Learn ultimate tools to solve engineering, mathematical and physical problems with Matlab

This is an intermediate Matlab course for engineering and STEM-students and professionals in these areas. The course is focussing on two main topics: usage of symbolic variables and expressions and solving different kinds of equations in Matlab. Differential equations play a major role in engineering and natural sciences and this course is going to provide you the knowledge how Matlab can help you soling such equations (or systems) straigth-forward and numerically in Matlab.

  • Solve linear and nonlinear equations using Matlab

  • Creating and working with symbolic variables

  • Differentiate and integrate functions in Matlab

Not a good match. This is beginner level material and this is advertised as an intermediate course.

There are many things to learn from this course. Many new functions and solvers have been introduced. The pace of the course is also good. The instructor talks to the point and the videos are short with enough explanation.

The course content, however, is less. It took me 5 days to complete it. I don't know why but I think there could have been more. There are no submissions and excercises so that just adds up to the pace of completion of the course.

The instructor has a very nice accent. She seems quite experienced. Not every small detail has been explained and some work is left to the students. That's good.

I would like to have some more content added along with some excercises.

The lectures are very clear and easy to follow, and the materials are useful for me (as a math student). It would be great if more section and topic could be covered in future.

Every topic covered is explained clearly and concisely. This info could be found elsewhere, but I didn't want to hunt for it, and it's nice to have a guide like that. I only wish more topics would be covered.
