N T Wright is the real deal, not some Bible University PhD, but a person who really knows what he's talking about

The content was excellent and delivered in an easy to understand manner. The quizzes and probing questions helped solidify course material.

As I read and reread this course and the other NTWright courses I develop layer upon layer of understanding of OT /NT and contemporary life that I find really amazing. Why I ask myself did not someone tell me these things decades ago. (Probably because some of this was not available then!)This growth in understanding is difficult to write clearly about now but is becoming possible over time.

This course looks like an exciting new perspective of the Bible. Making sense of the whole, not just separate chapters.

Yes, it is a good match. The eposidic presentations have left out an overa rching idea that is provided here. The narrative arc will need to be tested further, but it is interesting.

I've learned such a lot about key points in the bible and their overall meaning for God'a plan to 'tabernacle' with his people. The discussion between God and Moses; God's forgiving love again and again; his plan to protect his people in the story of Ester (the king couldn't sleep that night); the promise to David that God would build him a temple (in the coming of the Messiah Jesus - already in God's mind at that time). I've noted down the lectures to read them again from time to time - to support my continued learning from the bible. Thank you!
